Emeritus Membership
Emeritus SRBR Members are individuals retired from full-time employment who have been a Regular Member of the Society for at least 10 years prior to seeking Emeritus status. Emeritus Members will pay dues at the "Trainee" rate. After 10 years in Emeritus Member status, membership fees will be waived. Emeritus Members retain full membership privileges, including a subscription to the Journal of Biological Rhythms and the right to vote in SRBR elections.
To apply for Emeritus Membership, complete the online application. New applicants also must send an email affirming eligibility to the Society's Administrative Coordinator at Conferences & Institutes srbrmembership@ad.uiuc.edu for review by the Membership Committee.
The Emeritus membership fee is $50.
Join or Renew Your Membership for 2012
Please note that membership runs on a calendar year (January-December), so if you wait until late in the year to join/renew for that year, you will have to renew again by Jan. 1 to continue your membership for the following year.
For example, if you join/renew for 2012 in October 2012, you will need to renew again by Jan. 1, 2013 to continue your membership for 2013 and receive JBR without interruption. The new year's membership typically opens in mid-November, so 2013 membership will open in November 2012.
